In Dead Panic, players start in a cabin at the center of the board, while zombies begin their undead march from the edges. As the zombies close in on the cabin, you must search it for items and weapons to fend off the approaching hordes and repair the damaged structure. If a player character dies during the game, they turn into a zombie and hunt their former allies.

A pretty good game, though the claim that it's for one player isn't entirely true – it's actually for 2 to 6. While you can play the cooperative version solo, it lacks tension... The components are just average; some bases need a drop of glue to stay together...
Docela dobrá hra, jen to, že je i jen pro jednoho, není tak docela pravda - je to hra pro 2 až 6. I když jako kooperativní verze se dá hrát solo docela dobře, ale chybí napětí... Komponenty jsou jen průměrné, některé podstavce potřebují kapku lepidla, aby držely...
An engaging cooperative zombie-themed game. It is a heavily modified version of its predecessor, Castle Panic. Players work together against the game itself. Your goal is to collect 3 radio parts to call for help in the form of an armored car that will evacuate you to safety.
Each player controls a character with a unique special ability, which adds variety to the gameplay compared to Castle Panic. The game is fast-paced and atmospheric. Personally, I found the difficulty level quite random. It depends heavily on when you manage to draw the survivors carrying the radio parts. We managed to do it twice in the first 2-3 rounds, and even though the board was swarming with zombies by the end, we won the game more or less easily. Also, zombie movement is relatively easy to control in the early rounds.
An interesting variant is the option to play semi-cooperatively, where one player takes on the role of the zombies.
Zaujímavá kooperatívna hra so zombie tematikou. Jedná sa o značne modifikovanú verziu predchodcu Castle Panic. Hráči hrajú spoločne proti samotnej hre. Ich úlohou je zhromaždiť 3 časti rádia aby si privolali pomoc vo forme ozbrojeného aut, ktoré ich evakuuje do bezpečia.
Každý hráč ovláda jednu z postáv, ktoré sa líšia špeciálnou schopnosťou, čo do hry naproti Castle Panic prináša rôznorodosť v štýle hrania s rôznymi postavami. Hra je svižná a atmosférická. Obtiažnosť hry mne osobne prišla dosť náhodná. Dosť závisí na tom v ktorej fáze hry sa podarí vytiahnuť ľudí nesúcich časti rádia. Nám sa to dva krát podarilo v prvých 2-3 kolách a napriek tomu, že ku koncu už bolo na hracej ploche more zombíkov sme hru viac menej s prehľadom vyhrali. Taktiež pohyb zombíkov sa v prvých kolách dá pomerne jednoducho ovládať.
Zaujímavým variantom je možnosť hrať semikooperatívne a teda jeden hráč sa zhostí hry za zombie stranu.
