Dacron bowstring for Ranger bow

I ordered this bowstring for a DIY bow made from fiberglass rods and PVC pipe. I've had zero issues with the string; it's 137 cm long, looks great, and my fingers only start to hurt after about 20 shots with a 40-50lb bow. 5 stars :)

Tětivu jsem si objednal k podomácku vyrobenému luku z laminátových tyčí a PVC trubky. S tětivou nemám nejmenší problémy, délka 137 cm, pěkné barvy, prsty bolí až tak po 20 výstřelech z 40-50lb luku. 5 hvězdiček :)

The bowstring arrived in perfect condition, coiled and waxed. Just need to string it up and we're ready to shoot :-)

Tětiva přišla v pořádku, smotaná a navoskovaná. už ji jen nasadit a můžeme střílet :-)

I ordered the bowstring almost as soon as it was possible. It arrived quite quickly, which was good, but that's where the problems started. The string arrived completely unraveled, so I had to wind it myself. On top of that, since it was unraveled, it was longer, and if I hadn't already seen the bow strung, it would have been hard to wind it to the correct length. Furthermore, the string keeps unraveling, so I had to secure it to the wall to keep it from coming apart. I'm giving it three stars only because it is a very high-quality string.

Tětivu jsem si objednala skoro hned jak to bylo možné. Dostala jsem ji celkem brzo což bylo dobré, ale tam nastaly problémy. Tětiva mi došle úplně rozmotaná takže jsem si ji musela namotat sama a ještě k tomu když je to rozmotané tak je to delší a kdybych už neviděla ten luk napnutý těžko bych to namotala na správnou délku. ještě k tomu se tětiva pořád rozmotává takže jsem ji musela upevnit na zeď aby se nemohla rozmotat. Ty tři hvězdičky dostala jenom za to, že je to opravdu velmi kvalitní tětiva.

I bought this bowstring as a spare. The original one on my bow is still going strong—after about 300 shots, it shows no serious wear. To make it last as long as possible, I recommend waxing it and unstringing your bow when you're not shooting.

Tětivu jsem si koupil do zásoby, ta původní na mém luku ještě pořád slouží, po asi 300 výstřelech nemá žádné vážné poškození. Aby vám co nejdéle vydržela, doporučuji navoskovat a sejmout z luku, když nestřílíte.

The bowstring arrived quickly and in perfect condition. It lasted about ten years, and if it hadn't been for poor winter storage where mice got to it and chewed it up, I'm sure it would still be going strong...

Tětiva přišla rychle a v pořádku. Vydržela cca deset let a nebýt špatně zvoleného umístění přes zimu, kde se objevily myši a rozdrbaly jí, tak věřím že ještě furt drží...
