In the board game Costa Rica, you join an expedition to collect rare and exotic animals and save them from poachers. Beyond the animals, the Costa Rican jungles hide various types of terrain and swarms of mosquitoes waiting for explorers.
During the game, you decide whether to act as part of the expedition or go your own way. Collect as many members of a single animal species as possible, or focus on gathering individuals from different species. The strategy is entirely up to you.
