Hlava xenomorfa je vystavena přírodnímu světlu, rozdíl je zde téměř nepatrný ale je tam, lesk, který vytvořil Shade je po dvou vrstvách laku snížen, lze to přirovnat k lehkému zaprášení. Tento Technical je důležitý detail pro každého, kdo bere barvení i modelařinu vážně, navíc téměř každý lak je také ochranná vrstva, takže investice se nakonec vyplatí.
