An amazing technical paint from Citadel, perfect for easily creating cracked lava bases.

The photo shows the process of creating lava bases using the following paints: Mephiston Red (Citadel), Troll Slayer Orange (Citadel), Fire Dragon Bright (Citadel), Moon Yellow (Vallejo), Sun Yellow (Vallejo), Ardcoat (Citadel) / Gloss Varnish (Vallejo), Mordant Earth (Citadel), and Lahmian Medium (Citadel).

For a better cracking effect and a faster process, I recommend drying the Mordant Earth with a hairdryer set to the lowest setting.

Pro lepší efekt rozpraskání a rychlejší proces doporučuji nechat zasychat Mordant Earth pod fénem nastaveným na nejnižší stupeň.

The cracked earth effect looks great, but it crumbles a lot once dry and flakes off the base. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I'm switching back to Agrellan Badland:)

Efekt popraskané země to dělá skvěle, ale zároveň se po zaschnutí hodně drolí a odpadává od baseky. Možná dělám něco špatně, ale vracím se zpět k Agrellan Badland:)

cracking effect, you can speed it up with a hairdryer, but it works slowly too, I recommend it (the lava looks great)

praskající efekt, možnost urychlit fénem, ale i pomaleji to jde, doporučuji ( láva vypadá skvěle )

The final effect looks absolutely amazing in the pictures and videos. That's why I decided to give it a try too.
