An absolutely brilliant tool for enthusiastic painters. It makes painting smaller miniatures a hundred times easier, and I haven't had such clean hands after painting in a long time.
The holder handles and firmly grips basically all miniature sizes up to very bulky ones, but it struggles with rectangular shapes—it doesn't hold them properly—so you still need your hand for painting doors or environment pieces.
At first, opening the clips seemed quite difficult and the whole construction felt a bit fragile, but after just the second miniature, I got completely used to it.
As I said, every miniature enthusiast should have this; I recommend it 100%, you won't regret it =)
Naprosto geniální pomůcka pro nadšené malíře. Malování zejména menších figurek usnadňuje stokrát, už dlouho jsem po barvení neměl tak čisté ruce.
Držák se skvěle vypořádá a pevně drží v podstatě veškeré velikosti figurek až do velmi objemných, ovšem s obdelníkovýmy tvary má problém - pořádně nedrží - takže na barvení dveří či enviromentu je sále potřeba ruka.
Ze začátku se otevírání klepítek jevilo celkem těžce a celý konstrukt působil jaksi křehce, ale už po po druhé miniatuře jsem si naprosto zvykl.
Jak říkám, toto by měl mít u sebe každý nadšenec do miniatur, doporučuji 100%, nebudete litovat =)
TL;DR: Build quality, ergonomics, etc. 5/5. The only downside is the price for something you can make at home.
I've had this holder for a while now and I definitely rate it positively – it's super comfortable to hold and grips the miniature firmly. At first, I found it a bit tricky to fit figures with larger bases (Citadel 40mm round base), but you get the hang of it after a while :) The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is that you can easily replace this holder with things you have at home. An old drawer handle, a piece of wooden dowel/block (though that might be harder to hold), or a champagne cork – just add some double-sided tape or mounting putty and you've got a handle for a fraction of the price.
TLDR: Kvalita provedení, ergonomie atd. 5/5. Jediné mínus je cena za něco, co si můžeme vyrobit doma.
Držák mám už nějakou dobu a rozhodně ho hodnotím pozitivně - drží se naprosto pohodlně a figurku drží pevně. Figurky s větším podstavcem (citadel 40mm round base) se mi tam ze začátku hůře dávala, ale po chvilce to člověk chytne do ruky :) Jediný důvod, proč dávám 4* je skutečnost, že se držák dá nahradit lehce předměty z každé domácnosti. Stará úchytka na otevření šuplíku, kousek dřevěné tyče/hranolu (ikdyž ten by se držel asi hůř), nebo korek ze šampaňského - to stačí opatřit oboustrankou nebo lepící žvejkou a máme handle za zlomkovou cenu.
The holder fits nicely in your hand and stays stable on the table. The only downside is the 40mm maximum base width, so some board game miniatures might not fit when you're painting them.

It holds small figures well. With larger ones, the figure might fall out when tilted, so it's better to hold it with your hand. It would be great if the base holder was rubberized; I'll try to figure something out.
Dobre drží malé figúrky. V prípade väčších sa môže stať, že figúrka pri nakláňaní vypadne, a preto treba radsej pridržiavať rukou. Bolo by fajn ak by bol držiak podstavy figúrky pogumovany, skúsim to nejako domyslieť.
After the first use. It doesn't hold miniatures as well as I'd hoped, but it fits nicely in the hand and feels comfortable. Larger miniatures unfortunately don't fit at all. A piece of wood block and some double-sided tape would do the same job.
Po prvním použití. Nedrží figurky tak dobře jak bych si představoval ale dobře sedne do ruky a příjemně se drží, větší figurky bohužel mají utrum podobnou službu splní kousek hranolu a oboustranná lepící páska
