Mytago Publishing: What are we planning for 2023?
Mytago Publishing presents its editorial plan. Let's focus on the titles we expect to release in the first quarter of 2023. There's plenty to look forward to!
A new year always brings a wave of resolutions and plans. We at Mytago have our own editorial schedule that we are doing our best to follow. Some things, however, are still too far off to discuss in detail. So, let's focus on the titles that are within reach (we expect them to be released in the first quarter of 2023).
Mausritter: The Estate (Isaac Williams)
If you enjoy spending your free time in the body and mind of a tiny mouse setting off on an adventure, prick up your ears! This collection of adventures for the RPG game Mausritter brings together works from eleven authors and weaves them into one grand adventure. Each individual story can be explored on its own, or you can experience a fantastic journey as a complete campaign.
House of Hell (Steve Jackson)
A gamebook from the Fighting Fantasy series in an exclusive edition. This tenth installment in the original order includes editorial revisions, a map of House of Hell, and will hit the market in hardcover. It contains all the original illustrations.
NEW: For the 40th anniversary of Fighting Fantasy, we have an important announcement! We have purchased the rights to brand new FF series books released in 2022: Secret of Salamonis (Steve Jackson) and Shadow of the Giants (Ian Livingstone)! We believe we will be ready to publish them within a year. Keep your fingers crossed for us!
OSE: Halls of the Blood King (Diogo Nogueira) - JUST RELEASED!
To make sure fans of classic RPGs don't miss out on the news, Old-School Essentials is also getting a new adventure. A thrilling story with an even more thrilling title: Halls of the Blood King! Characters of levels 3-5 will be able to encounter this powerful undead lord.
Lone Wolf: Castle Death and Lone Wolf: The Prisoners of Time (Joe Dever)
We have good news for those waiting for Lone Wolf! We can say with near certainty that the 7th and 11th volumes of the gamebook series will return to bookstore shelves in the first quarter. Castle Death will arrive in hardcover, and paperback fans will be able to add the reprinted The Prisoners of Time to their collections. If you are missing other paperback LW volumes that are currently sold out, don't panic. Further reprints will follow later this year.
Forest of Doom (Ian Livingstone)
Whether we manage to reissue the Forest of Doom gamebook in the first quarter is still a bit up in the air. But we are giving it our all! The legendary story of the journey into Darkwood is one of the last projects we want to finish by March of this year.
