Artifact

The game Artifact is set at the beginning of the 20th century, when major European and American museums competed for artifacts from around the world to fill their collections and host the most prestigious exhibitions. In Artifact, you play as archaeologists exploring sites across the globe in search of artifacts. You then send these to museums for exhibitions, where the proceeds fund your future excavations.

Compete for prestige and aim for victory. Game actions and resources are limited, and the competition is ruthless. Sometimes you might even need to turn to the black market—whether due to a lack of funds or to secure an artifact you can't find anywhere else.
