These nippers don't have the thinnest blades, but they cut beautifully and haven't dulled on me yet. What I rate positively compared to others is the way the two blades are joined, where both parts interlock—unlike, for example, the Citadel Tools: Superfine Detail Cutters, which are held together by a rivet and eventually get loose, causing the blades to misalign.
