Advanced Squad Leader (ASL) is a tactical wargame set in World War II and arguably the most comprehensive system covering combat during this period. Hundreds of scenarios and dozens of official and unofficial expansions have been released for the game. The box contains rules for infantry, terrain and weather, artillery and vehicles, special rules, and a training manual. The ring-bound rulebook also includes all necessary reference tables.

The ASL system is known for its immense variety of options. You will find rules for flamethrowers, bazookas, Molotov cocktails, movement in sewers, surf, caves, or on skis – as well as rules for close combat, taking prisoners, desperate infantry attacks against armored vehicles, getting stuck in mud, and more.
