Description
1812: The Invasion of Canada is a board game about the war between the young United States and Great Britain. In 1812, the Americans took advantage of Britain's European conflict with Napoleon to invade Canada, the last British stronghold on the North American continent.
Players take on the roles of the main participants in the conflict: the British Redcoats, Canadian militia, and Native American tribes on the British side, and the regular American army and militia on the American side. These 5 factions are divided among 2 to 5 players. When playing with more people, allied factions must cooperate and coordinate their moves.
The game is based on classic area control, with special dice playing a crucial role in combat. Depending on the scenario, the game lasts from 30 to 120 minutes and is very easy to learn—the rules are only 5 pages long.
The game is in English.
