111 - Alarm for Warsaw is a simple wargame for 2 players that uses the game mechanics of 303 - Battle for Great Britain.
One player commands a Polish fighter squadron defending Warsaw on September 1, 1939, the very first day of World War II. The second player commands the attacking German Luftwaffe.
The player controlling the Polish squadron has four P.11 fighters at their disposal—outdated and slow, yet highly maneuverable machines. The player on the German side uses two powerful Heinkel He-111 bombers and three fast, well-armed Messerschmitt Bf-110 fighters. Aerial combat is resolved using special dice.

The goal of the Third Reich's air forces is to bomb the capital city, while the Polish squadron tries to shoot down the bombers with the help of cloud-covered airfields and anti-aircraft artillery.
