Description
When Darkness Comes is a hybrid board and role-playing game set in the mysterious world of H. P. Lovecraft. You face off against the undead—zombies, mummies, vampires, and more—with objectives defined by specific scenarios. Some missions require you to defeat a main villain, while others task you with finding an item or defusing an explosive.
The game includes pre-generated characters, but you can also create your own. Each character features seven attributes, and the game uses a poker-based mechanic for resolving actions.

An interesting game, a mix of RPG and board game, which might not be for everyone. It plays great solo, though sometimes you run into a monster that makes winning impossible. The fact that it's only in English might be a significant downside. But maybe someone will translate it one day, who knows... It would be worth it :-)
Zajímavá hra, kombinace RPG a deskovky, což nemusí každému sedět. Solo se hraje výborně, jen se ve hře občas objeví taková příšera, že není šance na vítězství. Docela velké mínus může být jen anglický jazyk. Ale možná to někdo někdy přeloží, kdo ví... Stálo by to za to :-)
