The game is quite simple, clear, and above all, very portable. For me, the experience is just like playing a miniatures game. I especially appreciate the idea behind unit movement (flipping discs). It adds tension to the game, wondering if you'll manage to move somewhere in time or not.

Hra je vcelku jednoduchá, přehledná a hlavně dobře přenositelná. Zážitek je pro mě stejný jako z figurkové hry. Zvláště oceňuji nápad s pohybem jednotek (překlápění disků). Což dodává hře napětí jestli se nekam stihnete pohnout, nebo ne.

Diskwars is a game that brings classic wargaming elements to casual board gamers quite well. The rules are easy to understand and the game flows smoothly. You can finish a full game in about an hour. The base set offers a choice of 4 different armies, and if that's not enough, you can grab one of the two expansions that introduce new armies and upgrade those from the base game.

Diskwars je hra, která vcelku dobře přenáší klasické wargamové prvky i mezi obyčejné hráče deskovek. Pravidla jsou srozumitelná a hra dobře plyne. Celou hru jste schopni zahrát zhruba kolem hodiny. V základním balení hry je na výběr ze 4 různých armád a komu ani to nestačí, ten může sáhnout po některém ze dvou rozšíření, které přináší armády nové a vylepšují ty ze základní hry.

I really love this game. It's an affordable version of a miniature wargame. It's a shame there are only two expansions. But even that is enough to enjoy building an army and testing it out in battle. Finally, a game where you can lead armies in one big battle.

Tuhle hru mám opravdu rád. Je to levná verze figurkových wargame. Škoda jen, že existují jen dvě rozšíření. Ale i to stačí na to, abyste si užili stavění armády a její následné zkoušení v boji. Konečně hra, kde můžete vést armády v jedné velké bitvě.

Figurková hra bez figurek.Takže odpadá lepení barvení a složitá pravidla namísto toho se dá hned hrát a bavit se.

Almost classic Warhammer, but with tokens instead of miniatures and faster rules in the spirit of board games. It's quite easy to grasp the basic principles, yet complex when it comes to options and tactics.

FFG has shown once again that they know their stuff. Thumbs up from me, and I'm looking forward to the expansions!

Téměř klasický Warhammer, jen místo figurek jsou žetony a svižnější pravidla v duchu deskovek. Poměrně jednoduché na pochopení základních principů, ale zároveň komplexní co se možnosti a taktizovaní týče.

FFG opět ukázala, že umí. Za mě tedy palec nahoru a těším se na rozšíření!

An awesome piece of work. FFG took the original Diskwars and completely overhauled it. The result is a fantastic variation on miniature wargames with tons of replayability, all for a fraction of the price you'd pay for miniatures. The base game includes 4 colors of discs (races), three sizes for each, special embossed dice, and terrain tiles. Everything is made of high-quality, sturdy cardboard, so it's great. I definitely recommend it to everyone.

Super záležitost. FFG vzalo původní diskwars a kompletně předělalo. Vznikla z toho super variace na válečné hry s miniaturami a se spoustou a spoustou znovuhratelnosti a za zlomek ceny, které byste dali za miniatury. V základu jsou 4 barvy disků (rasy), tří velikostí od každé, speciální kostky (embosované) a díly terénu. Vše je z kvalitního tvrdého kartonu, takže paráda. Všem určitě doporučuji.
