Since the dawn of time, five powerful empires and races have vied for supremacy: Kholdrum, Shenaru, Ela'Vethera, Lorendale, and Zhoni. Their relationships were always complex—they formed alliances and feuded, merged and split, loved and hated… Each wanted the upper hand over the others.

Then came the Darkness. Armies of unspeakable horrors from an ancient, long-forgotten race of hellish creatures awakened deep within the earth and marched across the world…

Warband: Against the Darkness is a strategy board game where each player commands one of the five empires and races. They have set aside their disputes and differences to face the threat together, uniting into an army of such power that the world itself trembled.

Although it might seem so at first glance, this is not a cooperative game—old habits die hard. The player who collects the most victory points at the end of the game wins.
