On Sunday, December 7, 1941, the US naval base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii was attacked by Japanese aircraft. For the next four years, the Allies fought the Empire of Japan for control of the islands in the Pacific.

War in the Pacific (Second Edition) is a robust wargame (literally—it comes in a large, heavy box) that lets you play through the entire Pacific War. This is not a simple game; you will need to master a number of rules and concepts. Compared to the first edition, the rules have undergone significant changes, and the ground combat system has been completely overhauled. The game comes with an extensive campaign and several smaller introductory combat scenarios.
