Veritas
Description
Veritas is a board game about preserving the truth in medieval France during the Dark Ages. Each player represents a specific "truth" that they try to pass on to future generations through monks. Players first place book tokens in monasteries and then spread their copies throughout France. In each round, a monastery might burn down, destroying the books inside.
In Veritas, the first player to collect 100 points wins. Their "truth" becomes dominant, ending the Dark Ages.
