Description
Turnshoes were widely worn by Slavs, Vikings, Romance peoples, and even Scots between the 5th and 16th centuries. We craft these shoes from cowhide leather, treated with palm oil, animal fats, and beeswax. The sole features 9.5 mm thick styropor with a 9.5 mm heel.
Choose from standard color variations: light brown, dark brown, or black. Please include your shoe size with your order. The price is for a pair.
These are handmade shoes. While we use non-historical construction methods and materials to ensure durability under heavy use, we have designed them to maintain an authentic historical look. Delivery time is approximately 4-6 weeks.

These are excellent boots; if you measure your feet correctly, they will fit like a glove. They are comfortable, though they lack a tongue and the laces are made of leather strips. The color is dark brown, and while the sole is made of a modern material once used for slippers, it is so well-integrated that no one will notice unless they pick them up. I recommend buying insoles for them. When you are wearing armor and carrying weapons, the extra weight presses you down, and if you are running around in these boots all day, you will want them to be as soft as possible on the inside.
