The Staufer Dynasty

The Staufer dynasty produced several kings and emperors of the Holy Roman Empire during the 12th and 13th centuries. The most famous among them was Frederick I Barbarossa (Redbeard). His son, Henry VI, expanded the empire from the North and Baltic Seas all the way to Sicily.

In the strategy board game The Staufer Dynasty, you travel across the empire with Henry VI and his entourage, trying to place your envoys and nobles into positions of power across six different regions. After 5 rounds, the player with the most points wins.
