Sub ID - affiliate
One of the features our affiliate program offers is Sub ID. If you are already experienced in affiliate marketing, you have likely encountered Sub IDs and are probably using them.
How Sub ID works
Sub ID is a dynamically passed value that you can (but don't have to) assign to your affiliate link to track the performance of that specific link. This helps you monitor the performance of links, articles, or perform A/B testing. Sub IDs are also used by cashback portals, which assign a Sub ID to a user to evaluate who placed a successful order in the e-shop.
How to add a Sub ID at imago.cz
Simply add &customer_id=(your Sub ID number) to your affiliate link. This can be any positive integer. Your final affiliate link might look like this:
https://www.imago.cz/kozena-snurka-p-84.html?ref=240&customer_id=1234
Where ref= is your tracking code number assigned in our affiliate system (it probably isn't ref=240).
And customer_id= is your assigned Sub ID number.
TIP: Don't forget that your affiliate link should have the rel="nofollow" attribute.
Where will I see my Sub ID?
In your affiliate account, under your transactions, there is a Customer ID column next to the amount column. The number assigned in the customer_id parameter of the affiliate link through which the order was placed will appear there.
Q&A:
Can I use letters instead of numbers for customer_id?
Yes, you can use letters without diacritics, with a current limit of 100 characters. It is best to avoid spaces; use a hyphen or underscore instead.
