Just like with the Empire, this is more of a technical expansion than a combat-focused one. It includes an officer who can serve as an independent commander or as a unit leader.
Furthermore, you get a comms specialist who adds a radio upgrade option to units that wouldn't otherwise have it. There's also a mechanical droid to repair vehicles and a medical droid to save lives. All the miniatures are amazing, highly detailed, and ready for the tabletop.
