Plenty of small starfighters, capable of harassing and bombing even larger ships. An essential addition for every Imperial admiral.

This expansion beautifully increases the variety of your Imperial fleet. Three new types of starfighters (plus standard TIE fighters) and four new heroes perfectly complement and revitalize the base game.

The quality of the models matches the base game, so even though they are tiny, they are a joy to look at. The card art is also fantastic—classic FFG quality.

The only downside is that the pack only includes two squadrons of each new starfighter type. This limits their tactical use, and I find the extra two squadrons of standard TIE fighters completely unnecessary. You effectively end up with 8 TIE fighters, 2 Interceptors, 2 Advanced, and 2 Bombers. If FFG had skipped the TIE fighters and included three of each other type instead (even at a higher price), the ratio would be 6:3:3:3, which would be much more practical.

Even so, this expansion is a must-have for every SW: Armada fan.

Rozšíření krásně zvyšuje variabilitu imperiálního leteckého parku. Tři nové druhy stíhaček (plus standardní tie fightery) a čtyři noví hrdinové základní hru skvěle doplňují a oživují.

Kvalita modelů odpovídá základní hře, takže i když jsou modely malinké, je radost se na ně dívat. Obrázky na kartách jsou také parádní, zkrátka klasické FFG.

Jediný nedostatek vidím v tom, že od každého druhu stíhaček jsou v balení jen dvě letky. To docela omezuje možnost jejich využití a zcela zbytečné mi přijdou další dvě letky klasických tie fighterů. Hráč tak má de facto k dispozici 8 lete tie figherů, 2 interceptory, dva advanced a dva bombery. Kdyby FFG vypustili tie fightery a dali do balení tři kusy od ostatních druhů (i kdyby za vyšší cenu), byl by poměr letek 6:3:3:3, což by bylo mnohem praktičtější.

Ale i takhle je rozšíření povinností pro každého fanouška SW: Armada.
