Shiloh: Grant Surprised is a wargame set during the American Civil War, focusing on the clash between Union and Confederate forces in April 1862, where General Ulysses S. Grant secured victory at Shiloh.

The game features the new "Musket & Saber" system, which faithfully captures combat during the American Civil War. This system is intuitive and includes all the details needed to simulate the unique aspects of 19th-century warfare. Units can become demoralized and flee the battlefield, and the fortunes of war can shift at any moment.
