In the board game Paris, you become wealthy Parisian investors at the end of the 19th century, when Paris stood on the threshold of changes that made it one of the most beautiful metropolises in the world.
After the highly successful World's Fair in 1889, capped by the completion of the Eiffel Tower, the locals celebrated the 100th anniversary of the storming of the Bastille, and the golden era known as "la Belle Époque" began. Unprecedented architectural growth brought Paris gems of diverse styles – from Beaux-Arts, through Neo-Byzantine and Neo-Gothic, to Art Nouveau and Art Deco. And these are the buildings that take center stage in your efforts.
