Nuns on the Run is a game for up to six players who take on the roles of young novices inside an ancient, gloomy monastery. The girls haven't been there long and have their own "secret wishes." At night, they sneak out of their austere cells to pursue their goals. Naturally, the old Prioress and her loyal assistant (played by 1 to 2 players) don't like this one bit. They patrol the monastery, and whenever they catch a novice, they send her back (though she can return to the game after a while). The winner is either the novice who completes her secret task first, or the Prioress if she manages to catch the novices as many times as there are players. If the game reaches the fifteenth round, the Prioress wins.
