In 1845, Sir John Franklin led an expedition into the Arctic Ocean to find the Northwest Passage. The expedition consisted of two ships and three years' worth of supplies. They set sail in May, and no one ever saw them again…

Players take on the roles of expedition leaders, trying to uncover the fate of John Franklin and succeed where his expedition failed. The game uses tile-placement and action-management mechanics. You gradually map out parts of the Arctic Ocean and the islands north of North America while searching for the sea route (e.g., by deploying sleds). Your crew members perform individual actions. The game features a cool mechanic where parts of the board freeze and thaw depending on the season.

The game includes Czech rules.
