Game rounds are divided into several phases that players take turns playing one after another. You won't have to wait for everyone else to finish their entire round. This makes the game flow well even with a full group of players.

The game board is a simplified map of the metro from the book. The more players you have, the more space you get to play on.

At the start, you choose your faction and hero, both of which have unique advantages you should use throughout the game. You'll have fairly limited resources for buying gear, maintaining your army, and so on. To influence combat between players, there are "combat" cards that can help even a weaker player win.

Overall, the game has a great design, including the rulebook.

The only downsides: "weaker" enemies sometimes cause more trouble or slow you down more than the "stronger" ones. It takes a moment to get used to the conditions and consequences of hero vs. army and army vs. army combat. Other negatives are just my personal gripes regarding the English transliterations of station names and the hero miniatures.

Herní kola jsou rozdělena do několika fází, které hráči hrají postupně jednu za druhou. Nestává se pak, že byste museli čekat na zahrání celého kola ostatních hráčů. Hra je tak dobře hratelná i v plném počtu hráčů.

Herní deska je zjednodušený plán metra z knihy. Čím více je ve hře hráčů, tím větší herní prostor máte k dispozici.

Na začátku hry si vyberete svou frakci a hrdinu, obojí má své vlastní výhody, které je dobré během hry využít. Během hry máte vcelku málo zdrojů na nákupy vybavení, udržení armády ap. Na ovlivnění bojů mezi hráči jsou zde "bojové" karty, které mohou způsobit, že i slabší hráč vyhraje.

Hra má celkově povedený design. Včetně pravidel.

Jediné mínusy hry: "slabší" nepřátele občas uškodí/zbrdí víc než "silnější". Chvíli travá, než si zvyknete na podmínky a důsledky bojů hrdinaXarmáda, armádaXarmáda. Další negativa jsou jen mé osobní, co se týče anglických přepisů názvů stanic a figurek hrdinů.
