Description

Level 7 [Omega Protocol] picks up exactly where LEVEL 7 [Escape] left off. Thanks to the players, the Subterra Bravo facility has been thrown into chaos. The government has deployed a special commando unit on a top-secret mission to shut down the facility and eliminate everything left on the base.

In Level 7 [Omega Protocol], one player takes on the role of the Overseer, while 2 to 6 other players become members of an elite strike team. The Overseer controls all the alien inhabitants and prepares challenges for the other players to face. The commandos must complete specific objectives, explore the map, and fight off hordes of "mimics" sent their way by the Overseer.

The game is in English.

One of my absolute favorite games. It's a semi-cooperative game where players face off against a mastermind. The game features a unique hero activity mechanic. The more activity points heroes spend, the more actions the enemy can take. That's why you need to weigh every move carefully.

Jedna z mojich najobľúbenejších hier. Ide o semicooperatívnu hru, kde hráči hrajú proti mastermindovi. Táto hra má unikátne prvky narábania s aktivitou hrdinou. Čím viac aktivity hrdinovia minú, tým viac akcií môže urobiť nepriateľ. A tak je dôležité zvažovať každý rok.

Level 7: Omega Protocol is a one-vs-many game where players infiltrate an alien lair. It features some great original mechanics—for example, the more the "many" do, the more adrenaline they generate, which the "dungeon master" can then use to unleash chaos. Unlike other games of this type, it’s set in a sci-fi environment, which definitely earns it extra points. Unfortunately, the game relies on specific scenarios, meaning the "dungeon master" is restricted to using only certain monsters and placing cards exactly where the game dictates. They are quite limited and can't challenge the players based on their own skill, but only within the game's constraints. It’s more of a guarantee that the players will have a good time rather than a test of skill against an equal opponent. Also, I have to mention that the miniatures are made of very soft plastic and bend easily, which you can even see in the picture.

Level 7: Omega Protocol je hra typu jeden proti všem, kteří mu lezou do jeho doupěte. Má některé velmi dobré originální mechanismy - například čím víc toho "všichni" udělají, tím víc vyprodukují adrenalinu a tím víc to pak může roztočit "pán jeskyně".
