This classic Japanese Kyusu teapot in dark blue is a fantastic gift for chilly days and cozy evenings! It is perfect for Japanese tea lovers, though you can brew any tea in it (we recommend using Kyusu exclusively for green and delicate teas). The Kyusu Kuroshinju is crafted from traditional pottery clay and features a glossy finish. The underlying ore clay peeks through the enamel only at the very top rim. Inside the pot, you will find a metal strainer that keeps tea leaves out of your cup while pouring.

This teapot comes from the Tokoname region. Tokoname is one of the six oldest traditional pottery centers, located on Japan's Chita Peninsula.

The teapot is dishwasher safe.
