Boty vypadají velice pěkně. Zajímalo by mě jen, jestli by bylo možné je vyrobit se zaoblenou špičkou.

First of all, I have to say that PPL is great, completely reliable, and they don't rush you at all. The delivery guy was pleasant, handed over my boots and wizard robe, and everything went perfectly. Secondly, I unpacked them at home and wow, respect – both items are beautifully crafted. I got a bit scared when I unlaced the boots and put them on – they were pinching everywhere and I thought, oh damn... But after a few minutes, they molded perfectly to my feet. Now they fit like a glove and come off without any issues.

Za prvé bych rád upozornil na to, že PPL je skvělé, naprosto spolehlivé a vůbec na člověka nespěchají. Příjemný chlapík mi předal boty i čarodějný hábit a vše proběhlo skvěle. Zadruhé jsem doma rozbalil a teda respekt - krásná práce obou výrobků. Lekl jsem se ale, když jsem boty rozšněroval a nasadil - tlačily snad všude, říkal jsem si a sakra... Ale po pár minutách se krásně zformovaly, a teď padnou jako ulité a sundat jdou bez problemu.

These boots aren't just good—they're absolutely amazing! They don't pinch, they fit snugly, and they are the most comfortable boots a LARPer could wish for. You can easily wear them all day, and putting them on or taking them off is a breeze. They're stitched to keep water out, even in wet conditions. They look fantastic, though you'll need to get used to the upturned toe and watch out for vines (especially in the woods).

If you're on the fence about buying them, I can tell you it's definitely not a wasted investment! Highly recommended.

Ty boty nejsou dobré - jsou naprosto úžasné!!! Netlačí, sedí pevně na noze, padnou a jsou to ty nejpohodlnější boty, jaké si může LARPař přát... Dá se v nich být klidně celý den a nazouvání či vyzouvání nečiní žádný problém. Jsou šité tak, že vám do nich nenateče ani v mokrém prostředí. Vzhledově naprosto parádní, jen si musíte zvyknout na zvednutou špičku a (obzvlášť v lese) dávat pozor na šlahouny rostlin.

Pokud váháte, jestli je koupit, můžu jen říct, že to rozhodně není marná investice! Doporučuji.

The boots look great. I have just a few questions:

1. How high are they (where do they reach)? Is it possible to specify the height?
   
2. The laces look like leather, can I buy replacements if needed?
   
3. Is it possible to make the sole with a higher heel? Maybe 2 cm?
   
4. Is it possible to have the boots decorated with an engraving?

These are truly great boots that have clear advantages over today's standard footwear. Back in their day, however, they weren't for everyone either. Thanks to the impregnation, they stay dry and hold their shape. With some cheaper retailers, it often happens that the boots quickly wobble and lose their original form. Usually, the sole shifts away from the heel, and you'll wear through them in no time. With all thick leather boots, though, you have to expect that they will pinch before you break them in. It's better to help yourself out in the beginning; some use plasters, others thick socks, but in the past, people used foot wraps or bandages to keep their feet warm and prevent the leather from pinching.

In short, when you buy these boots, they will pinch at first, but after a while, you'll break them in and forget you're even wearing them.

Opravdu pěkné boty, které mají i své klady oproti dnešní běžné obuvi. Ve svojé době tyto boty ale také nebyly pro všechny. Díky impregnaci do bot neteče a drží tvar. U některých levnějších prodejců se stává, že se boty rychle rozviklají a ztratí svojí původní podobu. Většinou se podrážka dostane mimo dosah paty a brzy boty prošoupete. U všech kožených bot (z tlusté kůže) ale platí, že než je zachodíte tlačí, je třeba s tím počítat. Je lepší si nějak v začátcích pomoct, někdo používá náplasti, jiný zas tlusté ponožky, ale dřív se používaly onuce, nebo ovazy nohou, které držely nohy v teple a kůže netlačila.

Zkrátka, když boty koupíte, tak vás tlačí ale po nějaké době je zachodíte a zapomenete na to, že je máte na nohou.
