Compared to all other HP items I've bought so far, the Flying Golden Snitch might seem like a bit of a useless trinket (from a parent's perspective), as you can get much more useful and valuable things here at Imago for the same price. In terms of price-to-performance, I find it quite expensive compared to, say, clothing, books, bags, or other HP merchandise. I admit, I expected the Snitch to actually hover on its own for this price. On the other hand, while many items in the same price range might be more practical, this one is truly original, and I know from experience that sometimes a silly little gadget brings more joy than something super practical. If a Potterhead learns the right tricks with the Snitch, they'll definitely impress others—it's a fun show-off piece, not just something for the shelf. It's also great for killing time or keeping busy during long waits, as its size makes it easy to carry everywhere. However, I definitely recommend the Snitch for older children than the age stated on the packaging (which says 8+). I'd even say it's better suited for older teenagers (like the boy in the product video) so the owner can actually make the most of it. The invisible nylon threads are really thin. Skilled hands need to thread one line into the loop on top of the Snitch and master the right invisible grip in the palm and between the fingers to make the tricks believable for observers (so it looks like the Snitch is hovering on its own and the owner is controlling it). The fluttering of the wings is triggered by a mini button on the bottom round part of the Snitch. The round gold part is plastic and matte (which is a bit of a shame—it can look a little cheap). The wings feel fragile, but they've survived several falls without damage, so they must be sturdy. This is backed by the fact that the manufacturer reportedly used to include spares due to breakage, but the wings have since been upgraded, so they're no longer needed. The Snitch comes with a practical stand, and even when you're not playing with it, it looks beautiful on a shelf. If you can set aside practicality in favor of fan mania, I definitely recommend it.

Oproti všem ostatním předmětům HP, které jsem doposud nakoupila, je Létající Zlatonka možná taková malá zbytečnost(vnímáno z pohledu rodiče), protože za tuto cenu se zde na Imago dá pořídit spousta mnohem účelnějších a hodnotnějších věcí. V poměru cena/výkon je dle mého názoru ve srovnání např. s oblečením, knihami, kabelkami...aj. HP věcmi docela dost drahá. Přiznávám, že jsem si myslela, že se za tuto cenu Zlatonka sama vznáší. Ale na druhou stranu je pravda, že i když jsou mnohé věci ve stejné cenové kategorii možná účelnější, tato je fakt originální a ze zkušenosti vím, že někdy potěší víc blbinka než kdovíjak praktická věc. Pokud se potterhead se Zlatonkou naučí ty správné triky, určitě s nimi také oslní, je to taková zábavná machrovinka, nejen produkt na poličku. Určitě také poslouží pro zábavu při nejrůznějších časových prodlevách nebo v dlouhých chvílích, protože se pro svou velikost dá nosit všude s sebou. Rozhodně ale Zlatonku doporučuji starším dětem, než je uvedeno na obalu (tam je 8+). Dokonce bych řekla, že je vhodná až pro starší teenagery (např.jako chlapec ve videu u popisu produktu), aby její majitel využil její pravý účel. Neviditelná silonová vlákna jsou opravdu slabounká. Vždy jeden vlasec musí šikovné ruce navléknout do očka na vrchu Zlatonky a naučit se správný neviditelný úchop v dlani a mezi prsty, aby byly triky pro pozorovatele uvěřitelné (aby to vypadalo, že se Zlatonka sama vznáší a majitel jí ovládá). Třepotání křídel se spouští mini tlačítkem na spodní kulaté části Zlatonky. Kulatá zlatá část je plastová a matná (což je trochu škoda - může působit trochu lacině). Křidélka působí křehce, ale vydržela i několik pádů bez újmy, tudíž budou pevná. O tom svědčí i fakt, že výrobce prý dříve z důvodu rozbitnosti do balení vkládal náhradní, ale později křídla prošla inovací, tudíž už to není potřeba. Zlatonka má praktický podstavec a i když si s ní právě nehrajete, na poličce se přeci jen vyjímá krásně. Pokud dokážete potlačit praktičnost ve prospěch fans mánie, určitě doporučuji.

I'm getting this as a gift for my daughter. She's 8, so I hope she'll know how to handle it. The Golden Snitch looks great, it's sure to make her happy.

Dcera dostane jako darek. Je ji 8 let, tak snad s tim bude umet zachazet. Zlatonka vypada hezky, urcite udela radost.
