Polyethylene foam, known among cosplayers as EVA foam, is a popular material for crafting cosplay costumes, especially armor and its components. You can easily cut EVA foam with a knife and glue it with contact adhesive.

The edges of the sheet may have minor defects from production and transport. The sheet is always a few cm larger than 1 m.

EVA foam 50 or 100 kg/m³? Higher density material is easier to work with. It doesn't fray when sanded and provides a more precise, clean cut. For simpler projects, a lower density is sufficient, which is easier to cut with scissors. Denser EVA generally offers greater durability and higher weight.
