Escape from Colditz - 75th Anniversary Ed.
Description
During WWII, Colditz Castle was an impregnable fortress and a prison with no escape. Until now.
The war board game Escape from Colditz - 75th Anniversary Ed. was designed by Major Pat Reid, one of the few prisoners of war who managed to escape from this prison.
Become an Allied officer – you will need careful planning and nerves of steel. Gather equipment, secure escape routes, and coordinate your efforts so the German guards don't catch you. Or play as the German security and use cunning, ruthlessness, and constant vigilance to keep the prisoners in check, despite your limited numbers.
This new deluxe edition includes both original and updated rules, new hand-painted artwork, a large game board, 56 wooden pieces, 100 fully illustrated cards, a 32-page history book, and unique replicas of prison artifacts.
Seventy-five years ago, Major Reid faced barbed wire, searchlights, and armed guards to escape from Colditz. Now it's your turn to do the same.
The game is in English.

Do you love knocking opponents out in Ludo?
This game is, EXAGGERATEDLY speaking, a sort of "nazi Ludo".
The whole game is driven by the whistling of dice, which determine your total movement points to distribute among your figures.
One player takes the role of the warden, constantly trying to lock you up and prevent everyone else from escaping. If you don't know what we're talking about, just watch any prison movie. Players trying to escape spend the game gathering equipment, and if they have enough time, they usually succeed.
The game is spiced up by cards that allow random actions for both sides. You get these cards whenever you have bad luck with the dice.
+++For me, it's way more fun than classic Ludo!
And the production quality is truly stunning—a collector's piece that's definitely worth it!
