In Empires of the Void, 2 to 4 players strive to expand their empires across a diverse and volatile galaxy. Whenever a player reaches a new planet, they must decide: will you conquer it and plunder all its resources, or forge an alliance with the locals to gain their unique benefits and abilities? With seven starting races to choose from and another fifteen on the board, no two games will ever be the same.

Empires of the Void uses an action point system and exciting space combat resolved by dice rolls, offering plenty of tactical decisions. In this regard, the game may remind you of the classic Nexus Ops. There are 19 technologies in the game that radically change the course of play. Players will enjoy trading and negotiating even when it is not their turn, keeping everyone constantly engaged. The box also includes a deck of event cards that capture galaxy-wide happenings and build the story. The game features intuitive, simple rules and takes 2 to 3 hours to play.
