How reviews work?

Vladimír S.

This module is a perfect example of how to pack a ton of gaming content into a small space. The A5 booklet has less than 40 pages and features an adventure for levels 2 to 4 (designed for OSR games like Old-School Essentials). It’s packed with content—from a classic dungeon to a bazaar of the bizarre.

TL;DR: Tons of content for very little money.

Longer version: This slim booklet, with a layout and format that reminds me of our elementary school newsletter (likely aiming for that underground, old-school vibe), packs an incredible amount of material. You get one large dungeon, one medium-sized castle, and one mini-adventure location.

As a bonus, there's a bizarre bazaar generator (it generates pure absurdity, but don't be fooled—it's playable and fun), a collection of alchemical surprises, and a table for determining NPC morale. Everything is tailored to the Advanced ruleset, but OSR players shouldn't have any trouble adapting it to their own system with a little effort (personally, I play Forbidden Lands, and I can already see the items fitting in, though the dungeons might need a bit more work).

It also comes with a map of a fortified port city. It’s a bit random and doesn't connect to anything else in the booklet, but maps in RPGs are like dice—you can never have enough of them.

TLDR: kopa muziky za málo peňazí. Longer: v útlom zošite, ktorého sadzba a formát mi pripomenuli časy nášho periodika na základnej škole (asi to má navodiť underground, oldschoolovosť), sa skrýva nevídané množstvo materiálu. Jeden väčší dungeon, jeden stredný hrad a jedno minidobrodružné miesto.
