One of my all-time favorite games. It's strategic and highly interactive with stunning artwork. We play it regularly. It's best with 4-5 players. The only downside is the overpowered Pegasus mythological creature, but you can partially fix that by adding modules from the Hades expansion.

Jedna z mých nejoblíbenějších her vůbec. Strategická, velmi interaktivní. Má nádhernou grafiku. Hrajeme ji pravidelně. Nejlepší je ve 4-5 hráčích. Jediné minus vidím ve velké síle mytologické bytosti Pegase. To se dá ale částečně eliminovat přidáním modulů z rozšíření Hades.

A perfect strategy. I love that the winner isn't decided by points, but by two metropolises. Thrilling from start to finish. It hits our table regularly, and we even hold occasional championship tournaments for the cup :)

Perfektní strategie. Líbí se mi, že vítěze neurčují body, ale dvě metropole. Napínavé od začátku do konce. Pravidelně se vrací na náš stůl a dokonce hrajeme občasné mistrovské klání o pohár :)

Cyclades is a deluxe game that offers a complex experience despite its surprisingly simple rules. You can set it up and explain the mechanics in under ten minutes, then spend the next hour or two battling, praying, or summoning mythical beasts.

The core mechanic is an auction system that gets even more fun as you add more players. I recommend playing with at least three, ideally four or more. The gods' abilities combine and balance in fascinating ways, and even after ten games, it never stops surprising you with its depth and elegance.

Cyclades je luxusní hra, jejímž velkým lákadlem jsou krátká pravidla za poskytnutí komplexního herního zážitku. Hru vysvětlíte a rozložíte do deseti minut a pak se jednu až dvě hodinny oddáváte bojům, modlitbám či povoláváním bájných stvůr.

Klíčovým mechanismem hry jsou aukce, které jsou o to zábavnější čím více hráčů do partie dostanete. Doporučuji minimálně ve třech, lépe čtyřech a více hráčích. Schopnosti bohů se velice zajímavě kombinují a vyvažují, a hra i na desáté zahrání nepřestává překvapovat svou propracovaností a elegancí.

A beautifully complex hybrid game. A bit of Euro, a bit of Ameritrash. A perfectly balanced gaming experience.

A good game with a lot of components, although the quality is a bit questionable (some miniatures were bent or broken, but nothing too serious).

A stunning-looking board game featuring the popular theme of Greek mythology. Battle for control of the Greek islands with the help of gods, mythical creatures, and brave warriors. But watch out—if you're clever enough, you can even win without fighting, thanks to Athena! :-)

Úžasně vypadající figurkovka s oblíbeným tématem řecké mytologie. Sveďte souboj o řecké ostrovy za pomoci přízně bohů, bájných stvoření a udatných bojovníků. Ale pozor, pokud budete schopní, dá se vyhrát i bez válčení díky Athéně! :-)

A strategic board game with a great theme, decent miniatures, and an auction mechanic. The components are good quality (excellent for the price), but I'm a bit worried about how thin the plastic on the miniatures is; I'm afraid I'll break all those thin weapons and such. Gameplay-wise, it reminded me quite a bit of Kemet from the same publisher, only here you have an auction mechanic where you fight others for the favor of individual gods. You have to keep enough money for your turn, though. I find the game less confrontational than Kemet, so it really comes down to which mechanics you prefer. Playing both is fun, and they look great on the table.

Strategická desková hra s výborným tématem, ucházejícími figurkami a aukčním mechanismem. Komponenty jsou v dobré kvalitě (za tu cenu i výborné), ale trochu mě mrzí, z jak tenkého plastu jsou figurky, mám strach, že všechny ty tenké zbraně a podobně zničím. Herně mi hra docela připomínala Kemet od stejné firmy, jen je zde mechanismus aukce, kdy s ostatními bojujete o přízeň jednotlivých bohů. Musíte si ale nechat dostatek peněz pro vaše kolo. Hra mi přijde méně konfliktní než Kemet, jde tedy hlavně o to, které mechanismy jsou vám bližší. Hrát obě je zábava a vypadají na stole hezky.

An absolutely amazing game, beautifully crafted, and sure to catch anyone's eye at first glance. As for the gameplay, I really love the auction of the gods, and overall the game is very "polished"; everything is intuitive, you won't get bored even when it's not your turn, and it doesn't take long before you're back in action.

I recommend it to everyone who likes board games more complex than Ludo! :) This is one of my absolute favorites, and I've played quite a lot of them. ;)

Naprosto úžasná hra, nádherně zpracovaná, určitě každého zaujme už jen na pohled. Pokud jde o hraní, opravdu hodně se mi líbí aukce bohů a všeobecně je hra taková "učesaná", všechno je intuitivní, nenudíte se ani když nejste zrovna na tahu, než se znovu dostanete na tah, netrvá to dlouho.

Doporučuji všem, kdo mají rádi deskové hry složitější než člověče nezlob se! :) Tohle je jedna z mých nejoblíbenějších, a že jsem jich hrál už hodně. ;)
