When I started painting, I told myself I didn't need a "stupid expensive plastic cup"... Oh, how wrong I was... :-)

This cup is truly well-designed:

• Conical shape for stability.
  
• Ridged walls for easier brush cleaning.
  
• The bottom has very prominent raised edges, so you can really "scrub" your brush against them (great for cleaning larger brushes).
  
• A notch to rest your brush.
  
• Grooves for shaping your brush tip.
  

I definitely recommend it; compared to a regular glass or cup, it's a huge help.
The downside is that due to its wider conical base, it won't fit into standard cup holders.

Když jsem s malováním začal, tak jsem si říkal, že "blbej drahej platovej kelímek" přeci nepotřebuji... Ó, jak hluboce jsem se mýlil... :-)

Kelímek je opravdu dobře promyšlený:

• Kónický tvar aby byl stabilní.
  
• Vroubkované stěny pro snadnější čištění štětce.
  
• Dno má hodně výrazné vystouplé hrany, takže se o ně dá štětec dobře "odrbat" (skvělé na čištění větších štětců).
  
• Výřez na odložení štětce.
  
• Drážky na tvarování štětce do špičky.
  

Za sebe rozhodně doporučuji, oproti obyčejné skleničce nebo kelímku je to velký pomocník.
Negativum je, že díky většímu kónickému rozměru se vám samozřejmě nevleze do držáků na běžné kelímky.

Any container would probably do, but this is Citadel. It features a textured surface inside for cleaning your brushes. I use it practically every day.

Asi by posloužila jakákoliv nádoba, ale tohle je prostě Citadel. Uvnitř je různě upravený povrch na čištění štětců. Využívám prakticky denně.

It's great that it doesn't have a handle, so you won't mistake it for a coffee mug.. :D It's quite robust, so there's no risk of it tipping over, and the design is also very well done. It serves its purpose perfectly, I recommend it!

This water pot for painting is absolutely perfect.
It's not just lightweight and well-designed, but also incredibly practical.
The bottom features ridges that make cleaning your brushes easy, while the side has vertical grooves to help you remove excess water.
The top rim includes two notches where your brushes rest securely without falling off. If you have more than one (I have two), they are stackable, saving you space when you put them away. Great piece of gear, I highly recommend it to everyone!

Tato nádoba na vodu pro barvení je naprosto dokonalá.
Nejen to, že je lehká a má pěkný design, ale i to, že je dobře vymyšlená.
Na dně jsou vroubky o které se dají štětce snadno vyčistit; na boku jsou potom vertikální výřezy, které slouží pro zbavení štětce vody.
Na horním okraji jsou pak ještě dvě prohlubně, do kterých přesně padnou štětce, které máte odložené na nádobě a nespadnou. Pokud máte víc jak jednu nádobu (já mám dvě) tak se dají stackovat na sebe, takže při uklizení zaberou málo místa. Super věc, všem doporučuji!

I can highly recommend this. It features practical grooves for shaping your brush tip and others for cleaning it. It stays very stable and holds your brush perfectly. It’s a small gadget that makes painting much more enjoyable, and you definitely won't regret the few bucks you spend on it.

A great helper for painting miniatures. It might seem like a waste of money to spend so much on a "mug" for water, but this one is truly worth it. You can easily rest your brush on it, it has ridges at the bottom to help you "clean" the bristles, and you can even use it to shape the brush tip.

Super pomocník k barvení figurek. Může se sice zdát, že je zbytečnost dávat za "hrnek" na vodu tolik peněz. Ale tento se opravdu vyplatí. Dá se na něj krásně štětec položit, dole má výstupy, takže se štětec "vypere" a ještě se dá zarovnat špička.

Opravdu povedeny doplnek pro barveni - ocenuji zejmena drazky pro formovani spicky stetce a ryhy na dne pro dukladne cisteni stetce.

I never thought I'd write this, but it's the best water cup I've ever owned.

The grooves on the back wall let you reshape your brush tip after cleaning. Such a small thing, yet so useful.

If I ever buy another water cup, I'm getting this one. Or two, right away.

Netušil jsem, že to někdy napíšu, ale je to nejlepší kelímek na vodu, co jsem kdy měl.
Dekorativní, stabilní, dobře se v něm perou štětce...
Drážky na zadní stěně umožňují po vyprání zpátky vyformovat špičku na štětci. Taková blbost, ale přitom tak užitečná.

Jestli ještě někdy budu kupovat další kelímek na vodu, beru tento. Nebo rovnou dva.

A practical tool for every modeler. I used to use various mugs and water was everywhere, but that's not a risk with this. Small and compact.
Once emptied, it serves as a holder for all your brushes. It's a bit pricey for a piece of plastic, but otherwise, I'm satisfied.
