Captain America

Captain America is one of the oldest superheroes ever, first appearing in comic books in 1941. He is the prototype of the fearless American superhero fighting against Nazism. Steve Rogers became Captain America after being injected with a "super-soldier serum" as part of an experimental U.S. Army program (before that, Rogers was a frail, sickly young man, yet possessed all the positive traits a patriotic super-soldier needs).
