Canterbury is a board game set in medieval Britain, back when the Saxons were building a new city on the foundations of an old Roman settlement – Canterbury.

As Saxon nobles, you strive for a prosperous city. You start with limited resources, which you must use to build 25 districts and provide essential services for the population, including water, food, religion, defense, trade, and culture.

Every Saxon noble works for their own prosperity, but the city grows and thrives from the collective success of all players. When the city reaches its peak prosperity, the game ends, and the player with the best individual score wins.
