A huge disappointment. All nine books simply don't fit into the box, or only with force and the risk of damaging either the box or the books. I previously bought the older box for eight books, and they fit in there. I asked about this before ordering the new one because I know there were warnings about different book sizes depending on the edition for the older one. I expected that if the older box fits, the new one would too, especially since it's the first edition and there shouldn't be multiple sizes. I'm giving it one star only because I can't submit the review without it; otherwise, it would be 0.

Velké zklamání, jelikož se do boxu všech devět knížek prostě nevejde, nebo jenom s násilím a hrozbou poškození boxu nebo knížek. Dodatečně jsem dokupoval předchozí box na osm knih a do něj se vejdou. Před objednávkou nového jsem se na to ještě ptal, protože vím, že u staršího psali upozornění na různé rozměry knížek dle vydání. Očekával bych, že pokud starší box sedí, tak s novou knížkou to bude také, když je to první vydání a nemělo by existovat víc rozměrů. Jednu hvězdu dávám jenom proto, že bez toho nejde zadat hodnocení, jinak 0.

Unfortunately, 9 books only fit into the box by force, and taking out a single book afterwards is basically impossible (I took the books out of the original 8-book box and added one new one). I also have to note that comparing it to the 8-book box doesn't favor the new one; the older one was made of thicker cardboard. So, while the box is nice, the ninth volume unfortunately has to stay outside of it.

Bohužel, 9 knih se do krabice vleze jen "násilím" a následně jen tak vyndat jednu knihu v podstatě nelze (knihy jsem vyndal z původního boxu pro 8 knih a přidal jednu novou). Zároveň musím poznamenat že srovnání s boxem pro 8 knih také pro nový nedopadá dobře, starší byl z tlustšího kartonu - tedy krabička hezká ale holt devátý díl zůstává nadále mimo box.

I was looking forward to the box and waited several months for a new book to arrive in the same order. Unfortunately, I'm disappointed; there is no way all 9 books can fit into the 9-book box – see the photo. Since my books have only been read once (yes, shame on me :)) and I've kept them nice, dry, and warm, the problem isn't that they've physically changed. I managed to squeeze eight books into the previous box, but on this new one, the seams started to give way as soon as I tried to push the corner of the ninth book in.

Na box som sa tešila a čakala som niekoľko mesiacov na to, aby spolu s ním v jednej objednávke prišla aj nová kniha. Bohužiaľ, som sklamaná, nie je ani najmenšia šanca, aby sa do boxu na 9 kníh vošlo všetkých 9 kníh - viď foto. A keďže moje knihy boli čítané len raz (áno, hanba :)) a držala som ich pekne v suchu a teple, problém asi nebude v tom, že by sa fyzicky zmenili. Osem kníh som do predošlého boxu natesno zmestila, na tomto novom sa začali ozývať spoje sotva som k ôsmim knihám skúsila natlačiť roh deviatej.

The craftsmanship is nice, but the problem is that the ninth book doesn't fit in. It only needed about 4mm more. I'm a bit disappointed that no one thought to test it before selling it. I got it as a birthday gift, so now I'm wondering what use it is to me…

We list the exact internal dimensions for the product and recommend that everyone measures their set of books to see if they fit in the box. Of course, if the box didn't serve its purpose or meet your expectations, you can easily return it.

Zpracování je hezké, problém je že se tam devátá kniha nevleze. Přitom stačily tak 4mm. Trochu mě mrzí, že před prodejem nikoho nenapadlo to vyzkoušet. Dostal sem ji jako dárek k narozeninám tak ted přemýšlím k čemu mi bude…

imago: bohužel, pokud máš doma starší knihy z dřívějších vydání, může se stát, že se liší jejich tloušťka hřbetu. Někdy se může knížka roztáhnout vlivem vlhkosti nebo když je hodně opotřebovaná. U produktu uvádím přesný vnitřní rozměr, doporučujeme každému, aby si svou sadu knížek poměřil, jestli se mu do boxu vejde. Samozřejmě pokud boxík nesplnil účel nebo očekávání, není problém jej vrátit.

The quality and craftsmanship of the box are nice, just like the previous one for 8 books. Unfortunately, the problem is that they don't all fit inside; if the box were 0.3 - 0.5 cm wider, it wouldn't be an issue. I tried to squeeze them all in, only to damage one, and it still didn't fit. A real shame in my opinion.

Kvalita a zpracování boxu je hezké, stejně jako předchozí pro 8 knih. Problém bohužel je, že se tam všechny nevlezou, kdyby byl box o 0,3 - 0,5cm širší, nebyl by problém. Snažil jsem se je tam vmáčknout všechny a akorát jsem si jednu poničil a stejně se nevlezla. Za mě moc velká škoda.

Beautifully crafted. It's a book box, what more can I say. The only downside, which might just be my specific unit, is that it's a bit narrower than similar boxes where books fit perfectly. My books are a bit cramped, which is a shame as they don't slide in or out easily, but it serves its purpose.

Velmi krásné zpracování. Je to box na knihy co více popsat. Jediné mínus které snad bude jenom u mě tak je že je rozměrově trochu užší oproti podobným boxům kde jsou knihy akorát tak u mého kusu jsou trochu napěchované což je škoda jelikož knihy dovnitř ani ven nejdou pohodlně, ale účel splní.

The cover itself is nice, but it would be great if it were half a centimeter wider. The last book is very difficult to fit in, and forcing it in causes the cardboard cover to bend, which is a shame. Also, there was a white scratch on the back, so I recommend checking the product immediately upon receipt.

Ako obal je sám o sebe pekný, žiaľ keby bol o pol cm širší bolo by to super takto posledná kniha do obalu ide veľmi ťažko a keď ju nasilu dotlačím kartónový obal sa potom prehol škoda. A taktiež na zadnej strane som mal biely škrabanec radšej si to hneď tovar skontrolujte.

Well. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Because of this, I had to wait longer for my pre-order than anyone else and walk past bookstores, desperately eyeing the shelves for Rozcestí krkavců. At least the free bookmark serves its purpose.

No. Nevím co dělám špatně. Kvůli tomuhle jsem musel i s předobjednávkou čekat déle než kdokoliv jiný a chodit kolem knihkupectví a zoufale pohlížet na pulty Rozcestí krkavců. Alespoň ta záložka zdarma plní účel.
