How to get rid of kids?

Kids have had it tough throughout history and mythology. Barely surviving the perils of childbirth, smallpox, and bogeymen, they were often sent off to a 16-hour shift in the fields by age three, only to be driven into the woods by cruel parents to face a witch or sent out for strawberries in the middle of December.

Not to mention the bad influence of grumpy fairies… Fortunately, the situation in our civilized lands is much better now. Most of us even agree that we actually like kids! After all, our shop is proof of that—we would have gone bankrupt long ago without children, teenagers, and adults with a youthful spirit. For over a hundred years, we have been celebrating International Children's Day on June 1st.

Play keeps them out of trouble

This old cliché holds true as long as you control what the kid is playing with. If there's a huge racket in the room or, conversely, unexpected silence, something is definitely wrong. The vast majority of experts confirm that playing anything, with anything, has a very positive effect on the development of human offspring. Today's kids don't have to play with rocks and sticks anymore (which is a bit of a shame, on the other hand), and our modern society has managed to produce a number of ways to keep active children entertained. Try throwing something colorful, noisy, and interactive into a group of kids and watch what happens.

If you don't want to take the easy way out and want to get your little hero some quality entertainment, rely on our selection:

Who will survive?

Locking a bunch of kids in a room for the weekend and waiting to see what happens is generally not recommended. However, we can safely encourage healthy competition. The more physical challenges, the better. Nothing makes a parent's evening more pleasant than a tired child falling asleep with a toothbrush in their hand. The best child is a sleeping child.

Obstacle courses, dodgeball, and capture the flag are classics proven by many generations. Everyone can easily remember their favorite childhood game. For those who aren't afraid to experiment, tougher games like Hunger Games or Squid Game can be interesting inspiration.

And because kids aren't satisfied with just the physical and mental humiliation of an opponent (unlike us adults), you must have the right prize ready for the winner. For example, stylish treats:

He who fears must not go into the forest

Every adult knows that life is cruel, spares no one, and is full of terrifying things. That's why we should train our offspring for this reality. A brave kid needs the right routine from an early age. Various courage trails or telling scary stories by the campfire are ideal for this. But we have to keep up with the times. Today, a child won't be fooled by stories about fairies and devils! So, it can't be a water goblin living in the pond by the forest, but the Ancient Cthulhu. Sleeping Beauty didn't prick her finger on a rose, but had her hand bitten off by a Triffid, and the terrible Witch was simply expelled from Hogwarts for inappropriate behavior. Her weakness for roasted stray children was just an attempt to supplement rare proteins in the deep forest. However, many kids will be most terrified by the fact that the Witch lives in the forest without Wi-Fi…

If you want to keep up with the times or really spice up your planned courage trail, we recommend this expert literature:

There and back again

Stereotype is the killer of any relationship. This applies doubly to parents and children. Chase the kids out of their lair occasionally, let them be blown by a fresh breeze, and treat them to a bit of sunshine. A great advantage of every outdoor adventure is that you can try all the previous points during the trip.

You can play games, race, and explore along the way. When the trip stretches into the night, it immediately turns into a courage trail. In the end, it doesn't matter if it's a trip to Kokořín, an expedition to Jurassic Park, or a hike for a beautiful view of Dead Man's Hill.

But every good scout knows it's important to always be prepared. That's why we've expanded our range with practical gadgets and equipment that will ensure your HP doesn't drop to zero even in the deepest wilderness:
