Bozacon 2026: What's in store this year?

On Friday, April 10th, and Saturday, April 11th, the Boskovice Sokolovna will host fans of fantasy, sci-fi, comics, gaming, and board games for the fifth time. Author Kateřina Šardická will present her new book, Neklidný hrob. Joining the literary lineup are writers Ondřej Blaho (Severní den trilogy) and Marie Domská (Kchrat series), who will also hold a launch event for her new book at the festival. Comic book fans can look forward to a discussion with the founders of the Aargh! comic anthology, Tomáš Prokůpek and Tomáš Kučerovský.

Game developers from Warhorse Studios (Kingdom Come: Deliverance) will share insights into their work, and there will be a live recording of the Czech Radio podcast Quest with Lukáš Grygar, Šárka Tmějová, and Jaromír Möwald. Minecraft YouTuber Hejlovec will also be there.

Friday night wraps up with a concert by the Sukuba Ensemble, who will rock the Sokolovna with hits from video games, while Vědátor—an applied physicist and science communicator—will offer an expert look at the world of Dune.

Board game enthusiasts can enjoy two full days of gaming, a retro arcade filled with classic consoles, virtual reality, Pokémon cards, and a book flea market.
