A knight without a padded cap is no knight at all! To keep your head in the game during LARP battles or historical reenactments, wear this quilted cap—or 'batvat'—under your chainmail coif or helmet to cushion the impact of weapons.
Batvat de Luxe is sewn from several layers of fabric, padded with batting, and ties under the chin with laces. The outer layer is made of linen in a "natural" color (greenish-brown or khaki—the shade may vary slightly), while the inside is lined with cream-colored cotton canvas.
Available in two sizes:
Small - head circumference approximately 54 - 57 cm.
Large - head circumference approximately 58 - 62 cm.
Use it under a helmet or chainmail hood. It ties with a lace under the chin.

Comfortable material that fits the head quite well. It looks authentic – it stays in place well under a chainmail coif and absorbs impacts. However, it isn't very thick on its own, so I definitely wouldn't use it as your only head protection.
Příjemný materiál, který na hlavu celkem i padne. Vypadá autenticky - pod kroužkovkou dobře drží a tlumí nárazy. Samotný ale není příliš silný a jako jedinou ochranu hlavu bych ho rozhodně nepoužíval.
It fits like a glove and is truly comfortable. It's about 0.7 cm thick when compressed, which is just enough to make you feel like you're sitting on a cloud.
Sedne jako zadek na hrnec a je opravdu pohodlný. Při zmáčknutí je tloušťka asi 0,7cm, což stačí a cítíte se v něj jako v bavlnce.
The bascinet is great—lightweight yet durable. It has already saved me from injury during fencing a few times, and once tied properly, it doesn't slip off my head at all.
Batvat je super, ľahký ale zároveň odolný. Už ma párkrát zachránil pred zranením počas šermu a po dôkladnom uviazaní ani nepadá z hlavy.
