Al Rashid

Harun al-Rashid was the fifth caliph of the Abbasid dynasty, ruling over the Middle East from 786 to 809. His reign was a golden age of prosperity in culture, science, and politics. Legend has it that his life and wisdom inspired the "One Thousand and One Nights".

In the game Al Rashid, you lead powerful families, trade, travel, and seek the favor of the mighty ruler. Al Rashid is a strategy game with a touch of luck. As heads of families, you command three types of assistants: Sages, Merchants, and Pashas. Each has a different Influence value. By placing them on the map of the ancient Middle East, you gain resources, additional workers, or official positions.
