This game offers a unique experience unlike anything else. Every player has a hidden identity and is either a Loyalist (minion of the Ancients) or a Restorationist (revolutionary). You play in teams, but there can be only one winner. Winning alone isn't enough; you must ensure the player in last place isn't on your team. If they are, your entire team loses, and the player with the most points from the opposing team wins. You need to read your opponents well, keep your identity hidden, or try something completely different. Expect cunning, misdirection, strategy, deckbuilding, and a strong thematic focus. This game delivers all that and much more in spades.

Tato hra nabízí jedinečný herní zážitek, těžko přirovnatelný k čemukoliv jinému. Každý hráč má skrytou identitu a je buď Loajalistou (poskokem Prastarých) či Restoracionistou (revolucionářem). V podstatě se hraje v týmech, ale vítěz může být jen jeden. Ale vyhrát Vám nestačí, důležité je, aby v případě vaší výhry nebyl hráč na posledním místě z vašeho týmu, jinak celý takový tým prohrává a vítězí hráč s nejvíce body z týmu protivníka. Chce to tedy dobře číst soupeře, neprozradit svou identitu moc brzy a nebo něco úplně jiného...prostě podšitost, klamání tělem, strategie, deckbuilding a silně zastoupené téma. Tohle a mnohem navíc nabízí tahle hra vrchovatě...

An interesting and original game where every player has a secret identity. You need to figure out who is on your team as quickly as possible, try to be the first, and ensure no one from your team ends up last. Otherwise, it's essentially area control with a bit of deckbuilding. The A Study in Emerald theme fits this game perfectly, which is definitely a plus for me in this essentially "euro" board game. I recommend not putting the game away after the first play; definitely try it a few more times before deciding if it's for you. It didn't quite win me over, but I'd be happy to play it again.

Zajímavá a originální hra, kdy každý hráč má tajnou identitu. Vy musíte co nejdříve zjistit, kdo je s vámi v týmu, snažit se být první a zároveň aby nikdo z vašeho týmu nebyl poslední. Jinak je to v podstatě area control/trochu deckbuilding. Téma povídky study in emerald se k této hře hodí, pro mě osobně určitě plus pro tuto v podstatě "euro" deskovku. Doporučuju hru neodkládat po prvním zahrání a zkusit si ji určitě víckrát, než se rozhodnete, jestli je tato hra pro vás nebo ne. Mě moc neoslovila, ale rád si ji zahraju znova.
