White tea

The term white tea usually refers to a type of tea that contains young or only lightly and specifically processed leaves of the Chinese tea plant (Camellia sinensis). These teas are produced by withering, light fermentation, and drying carefully harvested tea leaves. They are mostly very high-quality teas, essentially the remnants of teas once reserved exclusively for emperors.
