Warhammer 40000: Tyranid Hive Tyrant / The Swarmlord

The Flyrant has always been a favorite choice for Tyranid generals.
And speaking of big beasts, the Swarmlord (which you can also build from this kit) looks truly menacing with its two pairs of bone swords.

A když jsem u těch velkých zvířat, tak Swarmlord (kterého můžete z této stavebnice také složit) vypadá s dvěma páry kostěných mečů opravdu hrozivě.

The Hive Tyrant is a classic model (I believe from the turn of the 4th-5th edition) that fortunately doesn't age too much. It's a Tyranid HQ unit with great customization options, and the box includes most of them (unfortunately, except for the popular brainleech devourers, which you'll find in the Carnifex box). You can also build the model as the Swarmlord, a unique HQ that's very powerful in melee combat.

Hive Tyrant je klasický model (tuším z přelomu 4.-5. edice), který naštěstí příliš nestárne. Jedná se o tyranidskou HQ jednotku s velkou možností kustomizace a v krabici je většina možností k dispozici (bohužel kromě populárních brainleech devourerů, ty najdete v Carnifex boxu). Model jde taky postavit jako Swarmlorda, unikátní HQ, velmi silné v boji zblízka.

Personally, I think a Hive Tyrant is a must-have for any Tyranid army. Whatever you decide, it's hard to go wrong with this choice.

Osobně se domnívám, že Hive Tyrant by neměl chybět v armádě tyranidů. Ať už se rozhodnete jakkoli, je jen málo možností jak jej pokazit.

A really nice, high-quality, and detailed model. The details are clearly defined, and painting it was a joy :) A perfect addition to complete my 1000-point army alongside the Tyranids from the Leviathan box set.
