If you don't know the new Vallejo Xpress colors yet, pay attention. Vallejo has finally released its own speedpainting range, and it's a very successful one. The palette is a bit fragmented with many missing colors (which will hopefully be added over time), but the existing ones work great, and the final effect is exactly as expected—at the very least comparable to Citadel's Contrast paints. At the same time, with comparable performance, they are about half the price of the same amount of Citadel Contrast. In this case, Imperial Yellow was used for the robe, with the exception of the sash around the waist, where Citadel Contrast: Ironjawz Yellow was used.

Kdo nezná nové barvy Vallejo Xpress doporučuji zbystřit. Konečně Vallejo taky přišlo s vlastní řadou barev na speedpainting a to s velmi podařenou řadou. Sice paleta je taková roztrhaná s mnoha chybějícími barvami (které snad časem doplní), ale se stávajícími se pracuje velmi dobře a následný efekt je dle očekávání a přinejmenším srovnatelný s contrasty od Citadelu. Zároveň při srovnatelných parametrech jsou přibližně o polovinu levnější proti stejnému množství contrastu od Citadelu. V tomto případě je použita Imprerial yellow na róbu, s výjimkou šerpy kolem pasu, kde je použita barva Citadel Contrast: Ironjawz Yellow.
