Vaesen RPG Card Set

Honestly, I got these mostly to complete my collection. The initiative cards do their job. The Vaesen cards feature nice illustrations (the same as in the books), but the back side contains a general description of the creature that is useless during gameplay—if you've included this Vaesen in your game, you likely already know its specifics (behavior, goals). What you actually need are its stats, condition track, and the fear it causes. That would have fit perfectly on the card, but it's not there.

One last thing I didn't expect but would have appreciated: they could have included a few cheat sheet cards for fast and slow actions for the players.

Summary: for fans, yes, but practically speaking, you don't need this product.

Upřímně, mám to spíš kvůli potřeby kompletovat V. sbírku. Karty iniciativy plní svou funkci. Karty vaesenů mají pěkné ilustrace (stejné, jako v knihách) a z druhé strany obecný popis tvora, který je vám při hře k ničemu - pokud jste tohoto vaesen zahrnuli do hry, pravděpodobně máte jeho specifika (jeho chování, cíle) v hlavě. Co potřebujete jsou jeho stats, jeho posloupnost stavů a fear, který vyvolává. Krásně by se to na kartičku vešlo, ale není to tam.

Poslední věc, kterou jsem sice nečekal, ale potěšila by mě: mohli tam dát pár karet s cheat sheety rychlých a pomalých akcí pro hráče.

Shrnutí: pro fanoušky ano, ale prakticky tenhle produkt nepotřebujete.

The deck contains 10 initiative cards—in Vaesen, combat initiative is determined by players drawing a card, with the order set by the cards drawn. You can certainly use standard playing cards or even slips of paper with numbers 1 to 10, but these special Vaesen-themed cards definitely add to the game's atmosphere.

The rest of the deck consists of cards featuring creatures described in the rulebook. These are fairly redundant as they don't contain any game stats, just an illustration and a description of the creature. However, you can use them to show your players when they encounter a specific creature during the game.

Balicek obsahuje 10 karet inciativy — ve hre Vaesen se iniciativa v boji urcuje takovym zpusobem, ze hraci vytahnou kartu a poradi se urcuje podle vytazenych karet. Daji se samozrejme pouzit klasicke herni karty, nebo treba i papirky s cisly od 1 do 10, ale specialni karty se vzhledem ve stylu Vaesen urcite hre neuskodi.

Zbytek balicku jsou karty s bytosti, popsanymi v knize pravidel. Ty jsou vcelku zbytecne, protoze neobsahujou zadne herni statistiky, jen obrazek a popis bytosti. Ale daji se pouzit pro ukazku hracum, kdyz na nejakou tu bytosti v ramci hry narazi.
