Theophrastus

At the end of the Renaissance, one alchemist stood above the rest: Theophrastus von Bombast der Hohenheim. His skills and knowledge of both alchemy and science were legendary. Every year, Theophrastus took on one new apprentice. After completing their studies, this lucky individual could look forward to a life of luxury at the court of a nobleman or even the king himself. It is no wonder that every year, many applicants vied for a spot with the master alchemist.
